Handle the situation with what you have

Listed below are necessary items.

* Disposable delivery kit
* suction catheter
* lifesaving equipment for newborns
* something to keep warm with (plastic wraps, aluminum foil, etc.)
* goods that newborns need daily (clothes, diapers, etc.)

 

 Handle the situation with what you have

At homes and other facilities, the items below can also be used:

Something to absorb blood and amniotic fluid * Newspaper (to spread under towels), towels
Something to keep warm * Holding the baby
* linens such as towels, plastic wraps, aluminum foil
Something to tie the umbilical cord with * String or other items that can be used to tie the cord tightly
Something to disinfect items with * Fire from lighters, etc. (pass metal objects over a flame before using them.

Take them to a medical institution as soon as possible.

Take them to a nearby medical institution as soon as possible.
When moving the mother, adjust the method of transport according to the status of any hemorrhaging.
