The health of nurses suffering from the effects of disasters

Nurses also experience various reactions in their physical and mental health from stress and fatigue caused by disasters. At times, nurses overexert themselves because they hope too strongly to carry out their role as a nurse as perfectly as possile. Also, differences in diaster experiences sometimes create a sense of seclusion from others, resulting in awkwardness in relationships with those around them and mental fatigue or irritability

In handling stress reactions, it is important to speak to someone about your thoughts and also to rest. When you are off duty, forget sbout work and allow yourself to relax.

Also, if the damage status of your own home is severe, it is sometimes important to prioritize your disaster-victim self before your nurse self, and to reconstruct your own lifestyle first. You are not working alone, so care for each other and show your concerns.
